I think I was expecting a lot given all of the possitive reviews, but I was really disappointed in this product. My first complaint was the smell. It smells like my grandmother's lipstick (I don't know how else to describe it) - kind of a weird waxy/plastic-y smell. It also left my hair very crunchy. And even beyond the crunch (lots of products for curly hair leave my hair crunchy) it left my hair anything but soft, almost like it was drying out my hair. I would not recomend this stuff!

Ok, I've given this product a second chance. The first time I used it by itself - this time I used it under gel which made a big difference. The gel helped with the smell and Curl Keeper seemed to enhance the performance of my gel. While my hair is still anything but soft (I think anyone with frizz-prone hair knows better than to touch their hair anyway) I did get good separation of curls and frizz control. I have to admit, this is really good stuff. At first, I thought it smelled kind of cheap, but it's really an amazing product. Not sure if it's worth the price, but I will see if there's a place to get it cheaper. I think that they need to work on the smell...

I have long wavy hair that frizzes up like crazy! I use Curl Keeper on dry hair - add a quarter sized dollup in my palm, rub my hands together and between my fingers and lightly apply ends to roots. Seriously tames the frizz and keeps my curls moist but not wet looking. Smells nice too- doesnt interfere with any frangrances.
