I wish I could upload a still photograph (I don't do videos) to show everyone just how much I love this product. I was wary about buying a wig online, particularly through Amazon, because of all the bad reviews customers have given other Amazon sellers. I am happy to report that (for me at least) Hair Stop and Shop delivered EARLY, the color was exactly as advertised, it looked more or less like the photo when I placed it on a wig headstand, it didn't appear to have been worn before by someone else and then sent to me dirty/ragged, I am very happy with it.
As for how it looked on me, that's completely subjective. We are not all models and most of the models used to model these wigs don't look anything like the end user. When I first put it on, I was a little disappointed because I got 'someone's mother' and 'black lunch lady' vibes from it. You know what, though? They must have done something very drastic to this wig in the photo. it doesn't look, nor fit very well. Nor does it look anything like the photo.. i'm very good at modifying wigs, but this was BEYOND HELP!!
When i put it on while friends were watching, they laughed the wig on - and they laughed it right off.
What's worse, one of my cousin's yelled out: "Oh My Gawd!, she looks like one of those old sistah's in the church!!" THAT'S worse than a "lunch lady". At least gawd forgives THEM for looking ridiculous.
To add insult to injury was the customer service at Hair Stop and Shop. i looked up their Amazon.com reviews, AFTER I had ordered from them. 67% rating in the last 30 days.. and i understand why.
