I have been looking for a really good smoother that will help my fine hair resist humidity for awhile. I saw this in my local CVS and thought why not try it, as I have been a fan of the K Pak line in general. After getting this home and applying a small amount to my hair, I could feel the magic from the first application. My slightly frizzy hair immediately felt soft, silky, and it looked beautiful with renewed life and shine. I almost felt as if I'd been given new hair in a matter of minutes! I recommend using a pea sized amount for the first try, as a little goes a very long way. An added benefit is that this protects from heat styling and after blow drying, I hardly recognized my hair! I have also not experienced any weigh down whatsoever with this, as some like products can cause a crunchy look and feel and flatness. I've been using this Joico K-Pak for a while but doesn't seem to work well. Over the years, I've tried many smoothers/heat protectans but this one is not as good as others I've tried and it's more expensive. I love the Joico moisture shampoo and conditioner, but I bought this K-Pak and K-Pak deep conditioner, and I'm not satisfied with K-Pak products. I will continue using other Joico products but not K-Pak. Being the most expensive in their line they're not necessarily the best.

Not only did it make my hair straight and silky smooth, but completely frizz proof. Bottom line: this product worked. I absolutely recommend it.
