My stylist was using GENUINE Moroccanoil products on my hair and I loved them... The smell and the way it made my hair feel! HOWEVER, when I started using this product (purchased online via amazon.com) sold by BEAUTY SPA DEALS, my HAIR STARTED FALLING OUT IN CHUNKS. I never knew hair products were counterfeited until I contacted Moroccanoil about the defective product and they warned me that (and I quote):
"We would like to inform you that Amazon.com does NOT have an account with Moroccanoil and Kay beauty (I purchased the hampoo and conditioner from them via amazon.com) and beauty spa deals are NOT authorized retailers of Moroccanoil. Furthermore, we have reasons to believe the products currently available through these retailers are counterfeited. Consequently, we are in the process of taking strong legal actions, and we are hopeful this will soon stop these companies from offering these products that may jeopardize the health of consumers."

I am a fan of the Moroccan Oil line but this mousse did not meet previously purchased product standards.
Left my hair dry and dull, no fullness or volume. Did not do a good job of separating and holding curls and waves. Left my hair a frizzball.
Do not recommend.

I bought the mouse because my hair dresser recommended it. I have natural hair and wanted something to apply similar to what I've been using paul mitchel foaming pomade. I like Moroccan curl defining mousse however it does not leave a shine like Paul Mitchel. You definitely have to use a moisturizer along with it to get the same affect. For the most part I like the product.
