I have used similar products from Aveda and Bumble & bumble--and this outperforms for 1/3 of the price. Smells better, hair feels clean and refreshed. Doesn't cause styling products from previous day to flake. I have used after waxes, gels, pomades, leave-in conditioners, hairspray, and combinations of those--and the results are always good. I am a guy with an early morning commute, so this saves me 10 minutes of washing, drying and styling every second day--or to refresh after getting home on Friday night and need to head to a dinner. Also good after long-haul flights to refresh airplane hair. Hope you enjoy it, too. (And please don't let it be discontinued!!!!)

This sprays has a somewhat sweet fruity scent. While the scent is pleasant, it is not particularly gender neutral. So if you're a guy, you might want to think twice before buying this product as the scent is more geared toward women. I have used it on my 12-year-old son but he prefers his Suave Double Dutch Apple Detangling Spray as he thinks this spray smells a bit girly.

I use this because I wash my hair every other day and I always have felt a bit unsure when I head out with unwashed hair. Freshstart gives me more confidence and helps eliminate my worry about having that "second day hair smell." As I said, I used this on my son (who is at the age where he'd rather not shower, ever!) and the results were great. While his Detangling Spray does seem to mask any bad smell, I often notice his hair smells a bit stinky after a few hours. But this refreshing spray actually neutralizes, rather than mask, any bad smell.

As an African American woman with 4b curls, the kinkiest of kinky curls, I love this spray! I use it after the foaming waterless shampoo from tresemme, and the combination is awesome. I am currently deployed in Afghanistan, and there is so much chlorine in the water here that my hair was feeling brittle, so I needed to try something else.I was very pleased that this company delivered all the way out here, and it didn't take long at all.

The mist has a very clean smell to it, and makes my hair more manageable. I spray it on before I go to sleep, and while I'm doing my two strand twists/braids. I wish I had known about it sooner, I hope that this product is not discontinued because I plan to use it at least for the rest of the year. If this product was sold in a larger bottle, it would be perfect
