These hot rollers have worked very well, the times that I have used them. They heat up quickly and stay in my hair as long as I need them. I purchased them to replace a very old set of Clairol curlers, the first ones to have the sponge material around them; I had lost too many of the pins and couldn't find good replacements. Anyway, this Vidal Sassoon set is great and definitely worth the money.
